Already had braces,
and your teeth moved again?

You are not alone. Teeth can shift over time after orthodontic treatment, particularly when retainers are no longer worn consistently. For many adults, clear aligners can provide a discreet way to correct that movement without returning to traditional braces.

We will evaluate what has changed, your current bite, gum and bone health, and whether clear aligner retreatment is appropriate for you.

See If Clear Aligners Are Right for You

Made for real schedules

Designed to Fit Adult Life

Discreet

Clear trays are designed to be far less noticeable than conventional braces.

Removable

Take them out for meals, brushing, and important occasions as directed.

Digitally Planned

Your treatment is mapped using advanced digital technology so progress can be planned and monitored.

Fewer Disruptions

Clear-aligner treatment generally requires fewer adjustments than conventional braces, helping appointments fit more naturally into a busy schedule.

Comprehensive planning

More Than Straight Teeth

Orthodontics does not happen in isolation. Tooth position affects—and is affected by—your bite, gum health, existing dental work, missing teeth, and the long-term plans for your smile. At Crown Dental Club, aligner treatment can be planned as part of your overall dental care rather than as a standalone cosmetic service.

Bite & Function

We consider how your teeth come together—not simply whether they look straight.

Periodontal Health

Healthy gums and supporting bone matter when teeth are being moved.

Restorative Planning

If veneers, crowns, implants, or other care are part of your long-term plan, tooth movement can be coordinated accordingly.

Common questions

Adult Aligner FAQs

Am I too old for clear aligners?
Not necessarily. Age alone is usually not the limiting factor. Candidacy depends more on your oral health, the type of tooth movement needed, your bite, gum and bone support, and your treatment goals.
I had braces before. Can aligners fix teeth that shifted?
Often, yes. Many adults seek aligner treatment because teeth moved after prior orthodontics. We’ll evaluate how much movement has occurred and whether aligners are appropriate for your specific case.
How noticeable are clear aligners?
They are designed to be discreet and are much less noticeable than traditional braces, though they are not completely invisible.
Can I take them out for meals or important events?
Yes. Aligners are removable, which makes eating, brushing, and certain social or professional situations easier. Consistent wear is still important for treatment to progress as planned.
How long does treatment take?
Treatment time varies based on the amount and complexity of tooth movement. After your digital evaluation, we can give you a more personalized estimate.
Will aligners affect existing crowns, implants, or other dental work?
Existing dental work does not automatically prevent aligner treatment, but it can affect how treatment is planned. Crowns can often move with the tooth beneath them, while implants do not move. That is one reason comprehensive planning matters.
Why have aligner treatment at Crown instead of a traditional orthodontic office?
Crown offers aligner treatment in a private, adult-focused environment and considers your orthodontic care as part of your overall dental health. Your bite, gum health, restorative needs, and long-term treatment goals can all be coordinated in one place.
What happens after treatment so my teeth don’t move again?
Retention is an important part of treatment. Once alignment is complete, we’ll recommend a retainer plan to help maintain the result over time.
Do you use one specific aligner brand?
We use multiple clear-aligner systems and select the option that best fits the needs of the individual case rather than forcing every patient into a single product.
Do I need to become a Crown Dental Club member for aligner treatment?
No. Patients seeking orthodontic treatment only do not need to become Crown Dental Club members or complete the First Experience. Your aligner consultation will focus on evaluating your goals, bite, and oral health to determine whether treatment is appropriate for you.
