Dr. Jennifer Mullarkey, DMD, MBA, FAGD

Dr. Jennifer Mullarkey is a general dentist at Crown Dental Club in Skokie, Illinois, with advanced experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Her approach to care centers on comfort, communication, and personalization. She believes exceptional dentistry should not only look and function beautifully, but also feel approachable – patients should understand their options and feel confident in the decisions they make about their health.
Advanced Training & Clinical Excellence
Dr. Mullarkey earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. She then completed a General Practice Residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, where she received awards for excellence in Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Community Service.
Her commitment to continued learning led her to earn Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction achieved by only about six percent of general dentists in the United States and Canada. Fellowship requires more than 500 hours of continuing dental education and successful completion of a comprehensive examination. In 2018, Dr. Mullarkey was also named to Incisal Edge magazine’s prestigious 40 Under 40 class recognizing emerging leaders in dentistry.
Dr. Mullarkey has pursued additional training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner therapy, and facial and dental aesthetics. She also spent several years as an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, where she taught and mentored dental students.
More recently, Dr. Mullarkey earned her MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complementing her clinical background with advanced training in leadership, strategy, and healthcare management.

Throughout her career, Dr. Mullarkey has been drawn to dentistry that balances health, function, and aesthetics. Whether restoring a damaged tooth, enhancing a smile, or helping a patient navigate a more comprehensive treatment plan, she approaches each case with attention to the individual rather than simply the procedure.
At Crown Dental Club, Dr. Mullarkey works alongside our general and specialty team to provide coordinated care within a comprehensive view of each patient’s oral health. Beyond the Practice
Giving back has long been an important part of Dr. Mullarkey’s life. She serves on the board of Access Health Africa, a nonprofit organization providing medical, dental, and educational services to underserved communities. Through the organization, she has traveled to Malawi to provide dental care in rural villages and refugee communities, helping expand access to treatment where resources are limited.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mullarkey enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Most of all, she loves keeping up with her young son, Jack — and working diligently to make sure the next generation of her family grows up cheering for the Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue!
